*Dear Kevyn Alyson Tennant,
Lets run away together.
You are young but so am I And this is wrong, but who am I to judge
You feel like heaven when we touch I guess for me this is enough
"I don’t care what you think as long as it’s about me. The best of us can find happiness in misery"

Sex: female

*its whats on the inside that matters most,
Height/Wieght: 5'3" / 106 LBS.
Markings:nothing really, she's always healed before scars could develop.
Tattoos/Peircings: something that kevyn has become addicted to. she has her ears pierced multiple times, her nose, a madonna piercing on the left. she also has her naval pierced. she has a couple of tattoos. on the inside of her bottom lip she has "to live with lies", encircling her left wrist (like a bracelet) she has "A scholars ink lasts longer than a martyrs blood" and on the other wrist she has "All sins cast long shadows."
Distinguishing features: besides the ever changing bright colored hair and crazy out there style? not much.
Flaws: she's short, even for a girl. like really short.
Style: all kevyn seems to love anymore is clothes and challenging boundaries. ever since she was a kid kevyn was always dressing differently than everyone else. she has a very unique look with mainly homemade patchwork styled clothing.
Overall: Kevyn is very much into her appearance and subtly vain. She isn't vain in the sense that she cares what you think about her but vain in the sense that she cares what she looks like. She works hard to look trashy and crazy and like she doesn't care. She has pale ivory skin and long (naturally brown) hair. Her hair is always done with multicolored hair dye and extensions. Kevyn has deep brown eyes that clash with her pale skin. Her lips are naturally a pale pink that blend in with her skin so she always has on heavy makeup - looking more like a doll than a human at times.
Clothing wise Kevyn is the most outgoing and fashion forward girl you could think of. She isn't afraid to push the envelope with crazy outfits or worried about having clashing colors. She wants her clothing and her style to attract attention, she enjoys treating every day like halloween. Though she would like to dress in the times she grew up in she pays her respects by revamping old looks into new crazy ideas and people think she's just going 'vintage'.[/blockquote]

Overall Attitude :: Kevyn is smart. She knows this and she likes to show it off. She likes being the one singled out for knowing the answer, she enjoys the attention. She is quick witted and sometimes comes off as cold because she likes to flaunt her education. But truly she is a down to earth girl who just thrives on furthering her mind and learning as much as she can. She can be sarcastic, rude, callous, and just down right mean if you ask her about herself. She does everything she can to avoid any personal sharing moments because she doesn't want to get attached to anyone for fear of losing them. Kevyn isn't vain about her appearance, she is confident in the way she looks and seeks no one elses approval except for her own. She is quick to start arguments and not so good at controlling her temper unless she really tries. It is something she is working on.
Friends :: Miss Tennant is a solitary girl. She likes being self reliant. It isn't that she doesn't want friends or anything, she just is afraid of what comes with having friends. She doesn't want someone close to her to die or to get hurt, especially at her own hand. She longs for the companionship of others, secretly. She has friends, but only on the surface level. She has people she hangs out with, says hi to, parties with, but no one to share secrets with. No one to call when she's upset, she prefers it that way. She has had few close friends and has been betrayed by them all so she has a very cynical opinion / outlook on the whole aspect of friendship. She has a hard enough time trusting her own species let alone other species such as vampire and humans.
Love :: is nonexistent 99 percent of the time for Kevyn. She has had crushes and flings but no serious relationships in all of her life. Except one. Seeing how that ended forced Kevyn to realize she was better off alone forever. She closed off her heart and has worked heard to keep the prison up by ruining her chances by being crazy and rude and not holding back when around guys. She scoffs at the very idea of prince charming and disney movies but what is the truth? The truth is that the prison walls are slowly coming down but she is to scared to let herself become vulnerable. Vulnerability is weakness and Kevyn cannot afford to be weak.

History:
Born to a poor family in Dublin in 1881, Kevyn Alyson Tennant was not exactly the wanted child. The second daughter to Aldren and Ide Tennant she was hoped to be a son to carry on the name of the family. They did not love her any less for being a girl, but there was a definite disappointment. The werewolf gene that had been in Ide's family line (only as a myth of course) had not become apparent in the other members of the family so Kevyn was the first in a while (when she first began to phase but that wasn't for years.). Kevyn's older sister Edeline was two years older than she and was always very close to her sister when growing up. The happy day when Tynan was born two years after Kevyn was a great burden lifted off of the family's shoulders. Kevyn was immediatly in love with her younger brother and always protected him and cared for him more than any sister could possibly.
Kevyn and her siblings all got along well, as did their parents. It was very much a happy household even though it was hard to get by on a painter's salary. Kevyn stuck out from her siblings though. Her brother and sister both shared the lovely red locks of her father and light green eyes of his as well. Kevyn looked nothing like her father but rather like her mother. She had dark hair and dark penetrating eyes and she lacked the freckles of her family but rather was just covered in ivory skin. Later on it was revealed in private (from her mother) that she was not her father's daughter but the daughter of a small affair. She was told when she was thirteen and she immediatly felt disconnected from her family. Her mother would not reveal her father's identity saying it didnt matter who made her, but who raised her.
The first time Kevyn noticed she was different she was fourteen. She was out and had just gotten into a fight with her mother (once again about who her father was) and stormed off into the fields. It was the middle of the night, a full moon, and it happened. This was her first phasing. Scared, she had no idea what was going on and she woke up when it was sunlight in the yard of a farmer quite far away with shreds of clothes covered in blood. She had her first kill. Kevyn never told her parents what happened. They would call her crazy and send her away and she didnt want that.
When she was sixteen she was to be married off to a boy name Erick. She refused, she wanted to find someone she loved and Erick was ugly and rude and mean and she refused to have him as her groom. She protested day after day but the wedding was still on until one day she got so angry she let her temper lose control. She planned on running away and one night she left. Her brother ran after her and as shocked to see his sister phase into an animal. She had no idea it was him. She had no idea that the human that she smelled, the human whose blood and meat she hungered for, was her loving brother Tynan. Without a moment's hesitation she attacked and killed her brother, not knowing until the next morning that she had committed the most atrocious act that she could think of. That was the last time she saw Ireland. Decades passed as Kevyn forced herself into a depression and into an isolated state. She lived by herself, became self reliant, and refused help from anyone. It wasn't until 1924 she let herself live again.
Kevyn moved to the states. Jazz music, pushing the rules, the 20s were definitly made for our lovely Tennant girl. She became a regular on the jazz scene, joining underground women's groups, dressing provocativly with dresses above the knee and flirting with guys. She moved cross the country and one night she ended up in New Orleans. She had planned on going to Europe soon, she didn't enjoy america besides the jazz music. She was planning her way over when she met him. His name was Ryann Ceidr Nelsid, a jazz musician who had become enthralled by the brown haired irish girl at the back of the bar. He was in his early twenties and so was she though she still looked seventeen.
She prolonged her trip in america for another year and stayed in New orleans, falling head over heels in love with Ryann. He reminded her of Tynan and of Ireland though he was actually a first generation american with a german and english heritage. She wanted to tell him why she was gone on full moons or why she would leave in the middle of the night or why when she got upset she would abandon him. Another year passed and he proposed. He said he didn't have money but he would make it work and he couldnt live another day without her as his and his alone. She said yes, but she needed to tell him something first. That night was a full moon and she took him out to an empty area and she phased, she had begun to control herself much better. He ran and they never spoke again. She saw him once more in 1965 when she came back temporarily to the states (he was then 65) and he nearly had a heart attack when they locked eyes.
Kevyn went back to isolation on anything past the superficial level. She would go out, she enjoyed the sixties and eighties the most, and party but when she had to say more than her name and what drink she wanted, she bailed. She moved around constantly. When the nineties hit she decided to redo her entire image. She dyed her hair and got piercings and two tattoos. The ones on her wrist remind her of her jazz lover and of taking risk and the price of being a sin (she blamed her species and condemned herself constantly). She began to express herself to control her temper by taking her emotions out on her clothes, very theraputic for her.
This is her first round through the Lindburg Academy, she decided that she wanted to learn more and have some sort of stability in her life. She's lived long enough bouncing from place to place so she challenged herself after she found out about the academy. She had always spent time reading and learning while in her isolated state so she figured to make it official. Plus, she could probably learn how to stop phasing or something (not that it is possible but she thinks she could figure out a way...)

RP Sampe: is it okay if its from another site? if not lemme know:
"Valery was lost in thoughts, mainly thoughts concerning reality. She shook her head silently as she walked, she truly was a strange girl. No wonder she strayed from the crowds, how did her boyfriend put up with her? She would never have guessed how. Her sanctuary was these aisles, she didn't really fit in at Callette. The school was awesome, no doubt about it. Well. Maybe there should be a little more clarification. She fit in at Callette. She loved the classes, loved the sense of tradition, she didn't fit in with the people all to well. It seemed that everywhere you looked there was some fifteen year old slut or some abnormally abused junior or the anorexic sophomore, it was just all to...... all to dramatic for her taste. Maybe if her life had been different and hadn't tasken such a bad turn those years ago she would be like them, more social, more outgoing, the party girl who got wasted and high and screwed some random guy that one night, but is that someone she really wanted to be? When she left Callette and came back for a reunion did she want to be remembered as that girl who fucked the guy in the bathroom stall after some wild party? Not so much. She thought of this as she skimmed from aisle to aisle, enjoying the peace until it was rudely interrupted.
At Callette theres the popular party crowd, as in every school, and the one for junior boys was Cole. She had avoided him, they were polar opposites, he was him and she was herself, if that makes any sense. They didn't speak, though she did have to admit, once she did have a crush on him. Her first week of freshman year, then she discovered, and heard around, of his...habits. In her opinoins a man-skank-slut-boy. But that was the writer's words for you. And here he was, interrupting her thoughts, invading her sanctuary. What was he doing in the library? Of all places? Shouldn't he be hungover in a gutter somewhere puking his brains out or waking up with some skanky blonde getting dressed as he leaves her before she wakes up? Boy she had a vived imagination sometimes. But still, it was early. On a saturday. This made no sense in the reality of Callette Academy. Plus, what would a party boy do in the library? Probably be screwing the librarian assistant in the back. Or maybe he was lost, he had probably heard rumors about the library and went to see if maybe, perhaps, it had existed. Okay. She was being a bitch, but it wasn't said aloud, so that was okay...right? He just got under her skin, all of them got under her skin.
Valery forced a friendly smile and turned to face him, he was cute, there was no doubt about that, you would have to be blind not to appreciate that fact, but then...augh. It was to hard for Valery to even think about, put it into words, the feeling he gave her, and no, it wasn't the good kind. "Uh..." Valery began sounding like an idiot, "sure?" wasn't he allergic to books? She was sure she probably frustrated him in some way. Every other girl in the world threw themselves down at his feet, just waiting for their turn to be with the famous Cole Wallace, but not Valery. Especially not Valery, not her style. Valery glanced past him to see if anyone else was around, was this somew weird little prank? Make the anti-social girl speak? "What do you need help with?" she could make a few lifestyle reccomendations but something told her they would be completely unwelcome."
